Again

I just realized that the cup they brought me a drink in tonight is the same one they used to collect the gallons of urine that poured off my body after Gracie was born. mmm I love a product that will multi task, but gross, really.

I come to you tonight from Dixie Regional Medical Center. We are back. Gracie has some sort of respiratory virus. It's not RSV. We just don't know what it is yet. Hopefully the test results will come back tomorrow afternoon. I want to go home in the morning! It's amazing what a little oxygen will do for your coloring, poor thing, she is pink again. Suprisingly, I am holding it together. I thought the sounds of the monitors would freak me out...they are not. Hooray ( I think that is a tender mercy.) It helps that I know how to run the dang thing. So I used to love staying in the hospital. I had a new baby. I could have things brought to me in bed by the push of a button. I loved the nifty way you can elevate your legs and head at the same time and turn yourself into a human taco. The juice and graham crackers. Who wouldn't love that? Then I was sick in the hospital. Yuck, what a icky place. Tonight I am hoping to make it through and maybe convince the nurse that Gracie needs some cranberry juice and Graham crackers!

  1. Dear Gracie-
I hope you feel better soon. I miss laying on the floor by you and waving our arms around and kicking our legs and making noises. Thanks for letting me sleep in your bed and use your blankie. Also, is my mom supposed to be drinking all of the diet coke? Cause she is...bad girl.

  3. Too bad you can't be in the bed, Andrea! I love hospital beds too with their endless flexibility. We're sending "happy thawts" your way and hoping the recovery is quick and thorough.
